Integrity of our Staff

The integrity of our staff is of utmost importance to us. In order to ensure that the right people are employed, we undertake rigorous checks.

This includes:

  • Verification of Identity
  • Verification of Driving Licence
  • Verification of Work Permit (where applicable)
  • Validation of training and qualifications
  • Medical, physical and mental fitness checks
  • Confirmation of Nursing qualification with the Nursing and Midwifery Council
  • Checking of Sex Offenders register and General Social Care Register
  • Criminal Record checks

Only after all of these checks have been completed will we allow the new member of staff to join the Care Team.

During the first three months, the new member of staff will be accompanied by one of our senior Carers whilst a comprehensive induction course is completed. Once the induction course has been passed the new member of staff is ready to work alone.

We are very conscious about the vulnerability of the elderly and we take every care in the recruitment and selection of our staff. With this commitment, we hope that you are assured that the Carers visiting you in your home are of the highest quality and integrity.
