AVAILABLE POSITION: Payroll Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to process a payroll of approx 240 employees, some are salaried but most are hourly paid. You will be working from timesheets, emails and a variety of forms, inputting to and processing with Sage Payroll.

Tasks will include, but are not limited to:

  1. Collating information  and inputting to the system
  2. Working with spreadsheets
  3. Running both weekly and monthly BACS payments
  4. Producing spreadsheet information
  5. Working out weekly fuel advances
  6. Processing some expenses
  7. Deductions from pay (reclaiming advances, staff rents, various re-charges)
  8. Setting up new starters, processing leavers and entering changes to the system when required.
  9. Raising the monthly payroll journal for input to our main accounting system
  10. Monthly reporting for management purposes

The successful candidate will need:

  1. At least two years previous payroll experience and use of Sage Payroll
  2. Experience of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
  3. You will need to be very organised and of a calm disposition
  4. This is a developing and expanding roll so you will need to be ‘open’ to ideas and changes
